While mergers and acquisitions are good for growth, so are technical collaboration and partnerships combining and complementing each other's expertise to create more substantial authentication features, technologies, and systems. K&B integrating information in print

In recent years, Koenig & Bauer (K&B) has broadened its security and authentication offerings through new technologies and collaborations. Last year, it partnered with Graphic Security Systems Corporation (GSSC) to enhance K&B's anti-counterfeiting portfolio by jointly advancing GSSC's steganographic technology and integrating it with K&B's printing and security feature expertise. K&B has now announced the completion of this technology transfer.

K&B's authentication solutions now span multiple sectors, offering methods to secure printed products. These solutions include:

Daktylo: a technology that uses unique optical properties of inks and machines to verify product authenticity without needing special inks or design elements. One family member of the Daktylo family is ValiCash.
