Domino Acquires Lake Image Systems

Domino Printing Sciences, a producer of coding, marking and printing technologies, has acquired Lake Image Systems, a producer of automated, inline, vision-based inspection systems.

Domino’s solutions include inkjet, laser, print & apply, and thermal transfer overprinting technologies for applying variable and authentication data, barcodes and unique traceability codes onto products and packaging across a broad range of sectors.

Lake Image Systems’ product range, meanwhile, includes high-tech camera and lighting applications, and image data management software, which combine to produce intelligent vision systems for quality control and data verification.
