On The Record with Dave Coombe, Crane Authentication’s New Leader

Last year, Crane NXT launched its new brand identity, Crane Authentication, bringing together the strengths of De La Rue Authentication, the Smart Packaging assets of TruTag Technologies, and OpSec Security, under a unified authentication platform.

Since then, Crane NXT has announced it is on track to acquire product traceability and data management company Antares Vision, a move that will significantly expand its authentication portfolio into life sciences and food and beverage.

This marks a pivotal, exciting phase of growth for Crane Authentication, which has now appointed Dave Coombe as its new leader. Tax Stamp & Authentication News™ met with Dave to learn about his vision for the company and the broader authentication ecosystem.

Q: Could you describe your background and what led you to your current position as President of Crane Authentication.

A: I’ve spent more than two decades in the industrial technology sector, with a strong focus on leading global businesses through integration and growth.
