One Device to Authenticate Multiple Brands

One Device to Authenticate Multiple Brands

US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has formalised a partnership with the Alliance for Gray Market and Counterfeit Abatement (AGMA) – a nonprofit coalition of technology companies, distributors, and service providers. Under the partnership, AGMA will provide CBP officers nationwide with the ‘One Device’ platform for authenticating multiple brands or product lines.

Unlike traditional tools that are restricted to a single brand or industry, One Device consolidates authentication applications from multiple AGMA member companies into a single smartphone.

‘The One Device platform was designed from the ground up for field use – fast, accurate, and adaptable across industries,’ said Shelley Raina, CEO of True Pedigree, the technology provider behind One Device. ‘Partnering with CBP and AGMA on this initiative allows our technology to make a direct impact where it matters most: helping CBP analyse products at the border before they reach American businesses and households.’

The platform also offers real-time analytics and intelligence dashboards for CBP and participating companies, allowing officers to instantly verify products at the border.
