New Authentication Contract for De La Rue

De La Rue, a longstanding partner of Microsoft, has recently signed a five-year renewal contract to provide authentication products to Microsoft's OEM, Retail, and Xbox channels, a role it has been fulfilling for several years. Under the agreement, De La Rue will continue to deliver solutions to Microsoft's partners worldwide.

Microsoft deploys various security features on its products, including holographic and colourshifting features. For example, the certificate of authenticity labels used on its retail boxed software explains what the product is, its intended use, and its country of origin. Microsoft periodically upgrades the techniques and labels used across different world markets. Recently, it introduced a new holographic feature on its USB products.

With this renewal contract, De La Rue’s Authentication division continues on its path to achieving £100 million in revenue for the fiscal year 2024, demonstrating good growth compared to 2023 and making it the fastest growing division in the company.
