Tax Stamp Events Announced – Save the Dates

It’s time to get your agendas out and save the dates for two in-person tax stamp and traceability events.

The first is a pre-conference seminar organised by the International Tax Stamp Association (ITSA), taking place on Monday 3 June 2024, at the High Security Printing™ Latin America conference, Santiago, Chile.

The seminar, which will be free of charge for revenue authorities and ITSA members, will address current developments and best practices in the world of tax stamp and secure track and trace systems for tobacco, alcohol, cannabis and other products subject to excise tax.

The seminar will include presentations from tax authorities and solution providers and will be of particular interest to those authorities looking to introduce tax stamp and traceability programmes for the first time, or upgrade existing programmes – maybe in line with their obligations under the WHO FCTC Protocol to Eliminate Illicit Trade in Tobacco Products.

The venue for the seminar, as well as the conference, is the InterContinental Santiago, located in the Las Condes district, home to the Araucano Park, one of the many beautiful green spaces of Santiago.
