Securikett Launches Fully Transparent Security Label

The Austrian security label producer Securikett has, for the first time, succeeded in creating a fully transparent label with an impressive opening effect.

‘HighContrastVoid’ is a completely invisible security label that blends into products or packaging designs without changing their external appearance, while at the same time offering a high level of product protection. These attributes make the label particularly suited to the luxury goods sector.

The label is based on tamper-evident void technology. When peeled off, it reveals a previously invisible motif, which can be customised to allow the subtle integration of a company logo, for example.

As demonstrated by the ‘Tampered’ image in the below picture, any attempt to reapply a transparent label to the product will fail to hide the motif, which, once revealed, cannot revert back to its original, invisible state.

Vanessa Mitterer, head of the R&D department at Securikett, described the surprising opening effect as an unforgettable ‘unboxing’ experience for the consumer.
