Nanosilikhan Partners with TPI to Elevate Tax Stamp Security in India
Nanosilikhan Advanced Materials (formerly Nanobrick), a South Korean company specialising in nanoscale technologies with sophisticated overt and covert features, has entered into an exclusive partnership with Track Pack Innovation (TPI), a provider of eco-friendly, tamper-evident alcohol stamps to several Indian states.
The aim of the partnership is to enhance tax stamp solutions in India by integrating Nanosilikhan’s proprietary nano-engineered materials into TPI’s established tax stamp supply chain.
TPI operates under the Indian Ministry of Science and Technology and supplies stamps to states including Uttarakhand and Ladakh. Its BioSheal® paper-based stamps are 100% biodegradable and composed of dual layers that act as a tamper-evident mechanism.
The top layer of the stamp carries printed security features and a QR code, while the bottom layer is silicone-coated and embedded with features typical of a hologram – yet without any plastic layer. Once applied to the product, the top layer remains visible to customers. If tampered with, the top layer will peel off, leaving the holographic layer intact on the product.
